I’m always ready to cook food fast!
I need some tips in how to speed up my kitchen routine! Busy mom of 3 with no spare time;)
I love to use my pressure cooker. now that I’m not scared of it. LOL
I cook faster by prepping vegetables for many peoples at once. I need to cook faster since I have 3 little ones running around me and I’m just coming home from work/daycare & school pickups.
I need ideas on how to reduce the time spent in the kitchen! Hoping that would get me eating less processed food.
I cook faster by putting things on high heat and making basics in big batches then freezing. A perfect example is pizza dough.
I cook faster by prepping veggies and freezing them so they are easy to pull out and use in recipes.
I cook very slowly, so a book like this would be perfect to help me go faster 🙂
I usually prep & cut eveything during the weekend. Things go faster this way during the week.
I also do a lot of prep on the weekend so it is easy to throw meals together on crazy nights.
I’m a mom of three littles, and right now I’m feeling a little overwhelmed i could use some fast cooking tips/
Work takes up most of my day and along with travel too! I would love to be able to go home and whip up something quick!

My tip would be to make a double batch of certain staples that you can then use as a base in two or three different meals. Like a homemade tomato sauce as pasta sauce, chili, and calzones.
I cook big batches of dishes and have leftovers for other meals
I try to do prep on the weekend to make things easier during the week and it does help, but it also means that there’s a lot to do on the weekend. 🙂 That said, this book would probably give me some really great tips. Aaaannnndddd, I LOVE Mark Bittman. 🙂
Be organized. Have everything washed and cut before cooking, so you can time everything more accurately. Actually, that’s what I think I should do in order to cook faster. It takes me forever to make a meal – having this book would be great for me to learn!!
I like to make big meals and freeze the leftovers for quick meals on another day.
I’m not sure if it counts as cooking but I rely on my coffee maker with built in timer – no waiting for my a.m. coffee!
To help me cook faster, I try to multi-task and have a couple of things cooking on the stove at the same time.
I recently got a pressure cooker which speeds cooking up a lot 🙂
Two hungry kids! ‘Nough said!
Bing everything organized and ready to go, miss en place, helps me cook faster.

I cook faster by using the microwave! Lately I love cooking broccoli in the microwave, then whizzing it in the blender with chicken stock, basil, garlic and a little salt for a nutritious (and quick!) broccoli soup.
I need to learn how to cook faster because I’m a medical student so time is of the essence!!
I like to plan ahead sometimes. Prepping ingredients beforehand helps too
