As some of you may know, I just started firing up the grill with a teeny bit of confidence this past summer. But there is still so much for me to learn before I’m really comfortable with my BBQ!
Enter the ‘Academy’! This Wednesday, I’ve been invited to a Blogger party at the new Weber Grill Academy to check out the space and learn from Weber Canada Grill Specialist Chef Michael P. Clive! I’m so excited.
Just look at this beautiful place…
Weber is working hard to strengthen its Canadian retail and consumer relationships and have built a new headquarters in Vaughan, Ontario, along with the Grill Academy.
The year-round Weber Grill Academy will offer grillers diverse cooking and grilling lessons, demonstrations and lectures. The brand new facility is Weber’s first fully functional, commercial-grade kitchen in Canada dedicated to gas grilling, charcoal grilling and smoking all under one roof in a safe and secure environment. The Grill Academy will be available for private corporate events, consumer grilling classes, and retail training, providing a unique culinary experience bringing outdoor grilling enthusiasts indoors. The Grill Academy’s features include a state-of-the-art, custom-built ventilation system, enabling both charcoal and gas grilling indoors, plus four fully-equipped stainless steel cooking stations.
I’m so excited for this really cool opportunity to check out a wide range of Weber grills in action, plus hopefully learn some grilling tips from Chef Clive.
Watch my Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday for some live-tweeting and action shots!

So cool! I would really miss out on things without the wonderful world of blogs! (And yours is great)
Awww, thanks Ann! Yours is one of my favourites too – your blog is one of the few that can actually, literally, make me laugh out loud!
