At the end of last year, I decided to take a short break from blogging. Mainly to recharge, but also to focus on all the other things happening in my life, including running my own business and renovating a house.
So…. I had intended to stop blogging for a month or so. Fast forward to today, August 1, and it’s been a MUCH longer break than I had intended, but I hope to be back and am more excited than ever to get this blog going again.
You might have noticed that kitchen frolic has a brand new design and you’ll also find that there’s going to be a slight shift in the focus of the posts you’ll find on kitchen frolic.
For the next little while, there will be less original recipes (I just don’t have time to create and develop them right now) and more recipe roundups featuring some of my favourite blogs. Plus lots more cooking from cookbooks.
Speaking of cookbooks, there will be a larger focus on food books. That means more book reviews, more book news and more author interviews! I’ll also be updating all my previous cookbook reviews to include more tested recipes
I’ll also try to share more infographics, do more Eat Like a Local posts and just blog more often! I hope you’ll find the new kitchen frolic just as fun as the old one!
